• Description:
• IFC, the private sector arm of the World Bank Group (WBG), is the largest multilateral provider of financing for private enterprise in emerging markets. IFC promotes sustainable private sector growth by investing in private sector institutions, mobilizing private capital in local and international financial markets, and providing technical advisory and risk mitigation services to businesses. IFC invests in private sector projects that are financially and economically viable and have a substantial development impact. The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has supported the Palestine Capital Market Authority (PCMA) in developing its Digital Transformation Strategy (DTS). The DTS has been formally approved by PCMA and defines both the Target Digitally Enabled Operating Environment and a comprehensive Digitalization and Transformation Roadmap. The Roadmap includes seven technology-focused initiatives and five enabling initiatives aimed at strengthening institutional capacity. The purpose of this assignment is to provide specialized consulting support to PCMA for the scoping and costing needs of selected initiatives under the DTS..Based on the DTS and the agreed Digitalization Roadmap, the support will commence in following areas:A. Business Management System (BMS) - upgrade of the current platform used by PCMA, including the reengineering and digitalization of priority internal workflows.B. Market Participants- Web Portal - design and implementation of a new system to serve as the primary digital interface between PCMA and supervised entities. The consultant will work in close collaboration with PCMA to ensure , international good practices, and the evolving needs of the PCMA. The assignment will also contribute to building PCMA-s institutional capacity for sustainable digital transformation.
