Description:
The main objective of the assignment is to conduct a comprehensive wage analysis of existing and past two years CfW interventions in the State of Palestine, specifically Gaza and West Bank. The study aims to:Map and analyze current wage rates and related benefits across organizations implementing CfW including workers classifications.Model wage-setting scenarios using different benchmarks (e.g., cost of decent living, poverty line, and productivity) and assess their potential social and economic impacts.Recommend a harmonized minimum wage for each category of work that is fair, contextually appropriate, and sustainable.Provide applicable wage figures separately for Gaza and the West Bank.Ensure the recommendations are adaptable based on evolving socio-economic and security conditions on the ground.Provide guidelines for adjusting wages based on location, sector, skill level, and gender considerations.Support improved compliance mechanismsThe study should be guided and aligned with:Relevant ILO conventions and international best practicesReflect the economic and social conditions of the State of Palestine.local market wages, minimum wage regulations, and living costs.In addition, the study should:Reference the Minimum Survival Basket (MSB).Be grounded in social tripartite dialogue and stakeholder participation.
